On the Mecum auto auction on HD Theater tonight, there was a 88 Grand Wagoneer-SW with wood grain sides. The announcers said, "it's not nice to call a car ugly, but after three beers, this one looks great". How dare they, the GW was just beautiful. Even had surf boards on top. Ended up going for 15,500.

So I just walked into my wife watching a Lifetime TV Movie and caught a jeep. In the movie "Girl, Positive" the dbag boyfriend of a girl who gets AIDS drives a JK. I have to assume the rest of the movie is absolute crap - but his stock JK turned my head for a few seconds.

Bet none of yall had thought of that movie - haha!

The trailer for that new chick flick with Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum prominently features a Wagoneer as what appears to be the protagonist's vehicle. Seems like it's set in modern day, so I find that pretty cool.

(I noticed it in a YouTube ad and looked it up to confirm, ha ha)

Watched the movie "I am number four" the other night, and early on in a driving scene, there is a red XJ. It looked lifted and sitting on a trailer, but it was just a glimpse, so I could be wrong about that.

Am I showing my age by mentioning Hatari? I know there was a FC-170 or two, and I think a CJ-6.

I hate that I know this reference (on account of me not liking the movie) but in the opening war scenes in "White Christmas" there are 1 or 2.

Anybody watch Breaking Bad? I have seen quite a few Jeeps in there so far, and I'm almost done with season 3. The main character's wife drives a nice Waggy, and the brother in law drives a Commander. There are a few glimpses of TJ's and XJ's through the episodes, as well as a nice shot of an MJ

Also, not a Jeep, but I was just watching season 3, episode 7, "One Minute", and right at the 46:00 mark, theres a nice close up of a KM2

You know you drive a TJ when...

In the opening scene of Doctor Who "The Day of the Moon", there's both an Wagoneer and a CJ7!
