Getting to be like that here too. Sucks because just a couple years ago, jeepers waved like bikers wave. Sad.

EDIT: I haven't had the pleasure of helping out a fellow Jeepers yet, but have popped out my fare share of other rigs.

Came upon a fellow Jeeper whose cooling system had demo'ed on him after it had been improperly serviced. He seemed surprised that I was willing to drive him to the place that did the work when it was in the opposite direction that I was headed in.

I totally understand the jeeper wave, it makes since mainly because i used to ride bikes. i rode a sport bike and half the time harleys and such wouldnt wave at me. and i kinda get that but its dumb to me, but either way. Where im from (hawkinsville Ga) and pretty much all the surrounding areas, if its convenient we wave at everyone, guess its just different everywhere.

the bike wave between the HD's and the crotchrockets is like the wave between wranglers and cherokees. I used to wave to just about every single jeep i would see. After a while, i noticed that i never got any return waves from any YJ's TJ's LJ's and JK's, so i don't bother with the wranglers anymore, surprisingly enough though, just yesterday i got one from a newer TJ, so i waved back.

And the JK's, i don't most of the people that buy them are true jeep fans, i think most of them are soccer moms, or dads, who never had the luxury of a 4door wrangler in the past.

aaaaaaaaaaah, whatever, jeep on.

Good stuff man. I used to be a mustang guy and we were the same way. I have stopped a few times and helped out a fellow mustang guy in need. I am new to jeeps and have not had the chance to help out another jeep yet; although as ironic as it is, I push started a manual Ford pick up truck with my jeep. lol

I hear you guys on the wave thing as well.. you can kind of tell who to wave to in the mustang world though, not so much in the Jeep world though unless you see big old tires.
For the most part if it is an older Jeep people wave here in NJ.

i like the whole wave thing between jeeps but i do think that some people take it a bit far with the rating system and all. i wave at every jeep i see and i probly get 75% returned. most of the jeeps that dont return are the lifted tj's. lol!! the ones that usually are on here talking about the wave.

Alright you Primitive Screwheads, listen up! You see this? This... is my boomstick! The twelve-gauge double-barreled Remington. S-Mart's top of the line. You can find this in the sporting goods department. That's right, this sweet baby was made in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Retails for about a hundred and nine, ninety five. It's got a walnut stock, cobalt blue steel, and a hair trigger. That's right. Shop smart. Shop S-Mart. You got that?

I have one of the guys who I work with who is a fellow Jeeper call me up one day and say "Hey bro I got a wierd ? for ya. Are you near your Jeep?" I said yeah. He said can you do me a big favor? and of course I said yeah. His request was could I pull his realtors Benz out of a ditch. Now I love a good challenging recovery and thats what it sounded like over the phone and I figured I could add another pull to the winches recovery tally. When I showed up the car was just stuck in a little hole. I was kinda hoping to pull it out of a deep ditch cause thats how he made it sound but regardless I gave a little tug and pop came the Benz. I still think its cool that I recovered a Benz

Stopped at BK earlier to get some food on the way home from my day scavenging around the junkyard. Pulling in to the parking lot I noticed a lifted Liberty at one of the gas station pumps across the street. When I went back out to leave he came up and asked if he could borrow some money for gas to get him up to PA. Apparently his ball joint had broken on the highway and he had used his money to pay for a tow truck driver or whatever. I could only spot him 10 bucks but I was still glad that I could help, even if it was a Liberty haha.

It drives me crazy when "newbies" don't wave. I love knowing that if I were to get into a bind it wouldn't be long till a fellow Jeeper came along to help out.
