Ok I drive a pretty modded Jeep so I always used to wave. I know only wave to people that are modded as well doesn't matter what kind of Jeep They drive or unless they wave first. Maybe people hate Rubicons I dont know or care I went to Iraq had the money and bought the Jeep I always wanted.

I wave to all Jeepy people

You all seem to live in places with some pretty unfriendly jeepers. Here in Maryland it is rare for a CJ or wrangler NOT to wave.

I pulled up to a stop light today next to a shiny black JK and looked over and waved. The guy made the "roll down your window" motion so I did and he asked me If I knew him... I said, no, just waiving. Some kind of "Pft" sound out of his mouth and he drove away. Some people LOL

I used to wave, but never got any back, just crazy looks. Maybe because I am all stock? Well I do have Grand Cherokee rims, lol. I am making mod's a priority, as soon as I can!

The cool Jeep people just make eye contact and nod... because a nod is as good as a wink to a blind horse

I only wave to modded Jeeps, I've tried waving to stock Jeeps a couple times but everyone gives me dirty looks. Must be my "non-Jeep Jeep" I threw a wave out to a lifted KJ a few weeks back, but he ignored me. Or he was so shocked to be getting a Jeep wave that he froze

I try and wave to all Wranglers and usually get a wave back. I have definatley noticed that younger drivers or people in JK's don't usually wave back. There's one chick I see every morning in a super lifted yellow YJ and we always wave to each other, even though it's three of four times a week.

I got a wave for the first time since I've owned my Cherokee, which has been two years, today. I've waved to people in the past but they've either given me a weird look or haven't seen me. All I know is I was at a stop sign and as a Wrangler drove by I saw the guy wave and I almost forgot to wave back because no one ever waved to me before.

while i am still stock for right now...i think i have summed up the entire wave thing...while in part it depends on where you live, this is not a motorcycle culture where people w/ motorcycles understand and people w/out do not...this is still a vehicle that had millions made...there are teenagers/middle agers/old heads alike all driving these vehicles...

therefore people w/ modded jeeps understand that people w/ other modded jeeps know...in essence it's like the motorcycle culture....

you just know...a guy on stockers w/ a saggy *** vs. a guy w/ even a 3 in lift and 31's...you know the guy w/ the lift KNOWS

One time I was riding with my buddy is his TJ and a cherokee waved at him and he flipped the cherokee off. It will be funny when he has his YJ sitting on one ton axles with 38" boggers and a 350 chevy on the road. Wonder if anyone will wave.
