now i know i have a stock jeep, but i still wave to every jeep i see, no matter if it is a wrangler or cherokee i still wave, but i only get the wave back from the older guys. all the teenagers(i am one btw) never wave back WTF

I dont think the jeep wave is standard in my area. I never wave or get waved at. however one guy at walmart went as far as to honk and holler out the window to get a return wave. i wasn't looking for it so i didn't see it.

I wave at nearly all the wrangler i see, unless it's a gal in a JK unlimited..I waved at a guy this afternoon with 35's and other mods while he was at a light and he just stared at me as i drove by with what looked like a glaring face behind sunglasses.

unbelievably, I drive either the big truck or wife's Yukon and still wave at Jeeps.. like they see me and are going to wave back.. hell of a habit.. but it has become automatic now.

Ha Ha Ha, the wave.... I wave, yes I do. But, only to other TJ's, and I keep an eye on drivers of Cj's andYj's. If they wave I wave back to them also, becasue they are in the same category of the jeep family(well, kind of, but let's not argue semantics).
What I don't understand, is when Liberty's and Patriot's and other JEEP wannabe malcontents throw the wave.
They always have this look on their face like a picked on 17yr old trying to save face with the cool guy. Smiling way too much and probably wearing socks with sandals. I'm sorry, but to wave to these would be to accept them into the jeep family, and to accept them into the family would be like Sylvester Stallone hanging out with Ru Paul. I won't wave to these, that's just gay.

I usually just return the wave nowadays, too many let downs from guys like bjorn here...

I don't think I've ever waved at a cherokee since I hardely ever see ones that are lifted and the ones that are stock don't wave back. Actually I haved waved a few cherokees but their my friends and actually have lifted ones.

i hate when you wave to another guy in a tj, cj or yj and they give you the finger. theres this one guy in my town who's very fond of the one finger wave. whats up with this guy?
