Jeep caused problems at work

so, my (straight pipe, no muffler) jeep loves those snow banks in parking lots. and, theres a bank in the same lot as my office. i was just told to avoid the bank at all costs because my jeep is scaring the employees. they think the engine is going to explode and drive into the bank. nice. too bad they dont realize im revving like 2 grand at worst.........

I guess it's better to scare the employee's instead of the customers :-)

i mentioned what happened to the wife mod. she suggested a muffler. i was more than a little surprised when she said it. then she smiled and advised a glasspack. i guess i could quit waking the neighbors at 0615 on drill weekends. i looked into a stock muffler to save some money. $110. aftermarket (thrush or something) $45. i love it when upgrading is cheaper than staying stock!

i bought a stock muffler and had it welded on with a turn down tail pipe for $60 at one of these performance muffler shops in LA.

when i get that V8 in there though, its long tube headers into true dual straight pipes, that are finished off with some TSP rumblers that dump right before the rear axle.

I definately suggest the Thrush Glasspack. I had one on my YJ with the 4.0. It has a really nice throaty sound at low to mid RPM's and screams when u want it to. Everybody used to ask if I had a small block. It was nice n cheap too!!!!!!!!

No idea what you're so worried about SunDevilJeeper! Clearly he is just trying to offer us a deal on some Giorgio Armani stuff! This combined with the deal I got in another thread about Nike stuff makes for a hot shopping day
