If you are going offroad...make sure 4wd works.

Several years ago, when I was 16 and on a provisional license (5am-9pm), my cousin calls me at 1030 saying that he needs my help. He had gotten stuck on a beach in his YJ and needed to get pulled out. So I tell my Mom that my cousin is having car trouble and needed my help. So I get down to the beach and there he is, with his GF, and the rear wheels burried in the sand because it wouldnt lock into 4wd. Come to find out, he was supposed to be at the movies 20 miles away(we lived in the country). I had my Comanche and a bunch of tow straps, but they werent long enough to reach him so I had to go to my buddy's house and get him to bring his 4x4 K5 Blazer out. Of course he had to explain to his Mom where he was going at 11 on a school night. To make a long story short, by the time he go home after taking his GF home, all of our Moms had talked and his Mom figured out what was going on and he got hammered. Shortly after that my aunt, uncle, cousin, and his GF's mom and dad all sat down and had a long talk. What came out of that conversation was that they werent allowed to be togather after dark, she had to go on BC, and she wasnt allowed in the country for a while.

That didnt work too good because us three used to skip school and I would drop them off in the woods and I would go mudding in his Jeep.

They are getting married this July!

Oh, I misread it, I thought it said she had to go TO BC, not ON BC...

Okie, I get it now.

Wait, wouldn't be going on BC be a good thing? I mean, c'mon, think about it...

Yes its a good thing because there werent going to be any babys, but Im sure it was pretty wierd having you mom take you to get BC at 15 or 16, not to mention all the other questions your parents are going to ask you about sex.

Also make sure you're pals aren't over-confident when in 4wd.
