I heard a rumor that all of these stories, trail rides and pictures are fake.

The trip never happened!

This guy probably took the Wells book and made up stories about going to Moab.

Yeah, he probably did, but its amazing how closely his story matches mine for the Monday Mar 30th part of my trip to Utah!!!

Kurt's trip to Moab, including running monday with Jevon

Also, in my version of the story, Jevon (Idaho Jeep) and his family are very nice people too! And, Dex (Cliff333) was a great lead.

Kurt

Thanks to the Jeep Forum I was able to meet "Idaho Jeep" and "Cliff333" in Moab. Both of these characters qualify as good folk.

In my case without the forum providing a way for people with a common interest/hobby to meet, the trip would not have been as much fun.

I made a spur of the moment, solo trip to Moab, and many good folks here on the forum provided very helpful information.

Additionally as mentioned above, I was able to meet and run some trails with Idaho Jeep and Cliff333.

The Charles Wells book is great, however, if you are going to Moab and have the chance to wheel with Cliff333 you will not need the guide book.

I let too much time pass between my posts! You were able to post in between.

Probably missed you by a day or so in town.

You are right about them being nice people!

The only part of this I wish was made up was that concrete like mud

I don't recall Mr. Wells warning me about Snow and Mud in April.

Wow, MORE great writing and pics! It was good to finally see a clear photo of you, and not just your hands working on that jeep.
Great trip, great jeep, beautiful family!

Thought I would sneak in this picture of some southern mud, so you won't feel bad about the mud in Moab
