I am very, very jealous. Nice Jeep, and it looks like you had fun. I hope I can go to Moab...eventually.

Mmm, juicy, thanks for a moab fix! So many great trails there.

I've heard if you know the line on potato salad hill it isn't that bad but it looked pretty intimidating to me, not sure I'd try it.

Never been there when it did more than sprinkle a bit so haven't had to get too muddy, I can sure believe that powdery sand would be a mess though.

Jeep looks great in its natural environment.

Put me in the mix as well. My family is pretty psyched to go, although it will be next year.

Sure thing! But I will not follow you up escalator - that thing gives me nightmares.

Fantastic pictures! I can't wait to get out there again in October.

I've stayed at those cabins at Archview. Very nice. Our group had one of the small cabins and the big cabin. Only problem was being 10 miles from town.

The tubs on Hell's Revenge are called the hot tubs, not the bath tubs. I got a good chuckle out of that one.

The first time I got up Escalator, I thought "That wasn't so bad". But you're right, you do need an experienced spotter. I've seen so many people lay their Jeeps on their side.

Potato Salad Hill does not look that bad in person. But once you start bouncing sideways, your adrenaline really starts flowing. I HATE spotting people on PSH because the consequences for failure are very high.

Glad you had a great trip. I know what you mean about the last day though.

Put a dime on the ground and tell me to pull up and stop on it - no sweat, but pulling up to the ledge at the end of top of the world had me sweating. Left brake, right gas, left brake, right gas, don't mix them up! My wife was freakin'.

I hope to make my return to Moab in spring of '10 so we'll have to see how schedules work out. I usually go a few weeks later than this.

X1000

Not sure if it is easier with an auto - but my left foot was a little shaky on the clutch. With no one spotting, it feels like you are almost going over the top when you are still 5 feet away.
