I winched a bronco

well... after almost laying my TJ over on it's side trying to get to it I winched it out. He was watching me come up the hill and headed off the trail at Wheelin In the Country.

it was the bronco on the left. the bronco on the right was all custom. motor pushing 700 HP, stretched 14" in the front and some in the rear. custom 60s front and rear.

it did, but I was the only one with a good winch at the time. he eventually just pulled him out. I tried pulling him, but didn't get any traction, not enough weight and the ground was really loose. I was trying to pull him backwards and I had my tires moving backwards, tires digging down and moving forward.

The old Bronco's are sweet. I've not yet had the pleasure of pulling one out though. Unfortunately, I have been recoverd by a bronco...once or twice.

Where is this Wheelin in the Country you speak of?

Wheelin in the country is south of nashville, TN, at exit 46 on I 65. It's alright. we didn't get to do much because my buddy that I went with the bronco was afraid to break it. oh well, it was only a 4 hour drive...

they have a little bit of everything. not really long trails, but more of smaller tough spots. good for spectating.

I haven't been to the Big nasty park yet. It's in Evansville IN, correct? my club gets info on it every now and then. I've heard that it's a lot of big mud holes and ATVs.

I haven't heard much. Just wondering if it was worth the trip from Cincy.

Here's the link. It's apparently in an old rock quarry or something like that. mostly atv trails, but i've heard that they were making new and larger trails for trucks.
