In the woods where I offroad and ride dirtbikes is an old abandon house. It's almost all collapsed in but there is literally no driveway and trees all over. Real random. Also an old rusted car and a random old hunting shack. Best part of it all is down at the bottom of the hills in the valley, where even the 4x4 quads get stuck, is an old jeep j-series truck that was offroading and got stuck half in the creek and never got out. Must have been there for 50 years

Didn't know she had a thread. You have a link?

Back on topic sorry; not really unusual but makes me curious. I recently moved up here to NorCal i went to a OHV park today with a buddy. Around this area there are a bunch of squirrels that live in the ground. These guys seem like prairie dogs but they also act like freaking kamikazes. They'd be on the side of the road and dart in front of my Jeep at the last minute or be in running across the road stop in the middle and then run towards me. I mustve hit three today on accident.

In the pine barrens one time.. got the jeep on this huge rock so we got out to take some pictures of it flexing, heard some rattling in the leaves figured it was some kind of animal.. looked around didn't see anything.. noise got louder and louder, we didn't see anything once again, so after I took the picture I went from the front of the jeep to the back to find a piney standing behind the jeep with a double barrel shot gun, literally dropped my 400 dollar camera, the guy said " what you doin in these here woods boys, this is my land" as fast as I could I said sir we are leaving and you will never see us again... so we drive about an hour and a half through the trails.. once again I found a down tree that made the jeep flex real nice..got out took a few pics.. this time we saw the same guy come walking out of the woods..me and my buddy both jumped threw the passenger side and took off, now we went through some crazy sh%$ and there's no way he coulda followed us.. it was the exact same guy, im telling you me and my buddy were freaked out..after the first time we saw him he walked the other way..it had to be a ghost, this was in october of 2011, now I was there every other weekend..I have not been back since, I got the chills and goosebumps everytime I talk about..idk guys but it was extremly scary because there's no way he followed us and we were way the hell away from the first spot we saw him.

^Dude might have had a quad, cruising along real quiet like just watching to see where you go...if that's any comfort to you. I used to follow people around on my property all the time, just to see what they do and where they go. Lots of times I'd follow a good ways behind people I'd asked to leave just to make sure they did so without making them feel uneasy.

We used to do this on our ranch too - especially hunters.
Caught a few poaching... which is money in the bank. Poachers tend to feel like they are hot stuff - until you point out that they've got three rifles covering them from the trees.

The ones that were cool we'd just wait until they stopped, walk up and say hi.
