Why did you go with the 2" body lift? It does not look like you needed it (with your tire size) and it looks funny

I ended up getting stuck on my rear bumper so I took it off and added a Rugged Ridge Frame Hitch Kit instead and no problems since. It also hides the rear gap created by the body lift blocks. Heres pics:

The 2" body lift adds reassurance out on the trail, I have more than enough room to work with so depending on my situation I should be alright. Better safe than sorry. Also I think the 2" body lift is the best look you can get. I think there's too much crap talk on this forum about body lifts to start. I don't worship any body lift but I do enjoy the benefit of having mine, and like I mentioned I think it looks great.

I'll get better day time pics asap. I want to throw up pics of my EMP skids anyway since I put them all on yesterday.

Forgot to address one thing... Yes, I have no transfer case drop of any kind and no MML. I have no vibrations and zero stutter on take offs. Lucky I guess.

Thanks for the great post, WheelinWV. I've been trying to decide on whether to go with the Zone 3" for my 2004 TJ and you made a great case for it. I also got the skinny on who they are. Zone Offroad is the cheaper child division of BDS. It was created to offer a quality suspension lift at a lower price. You sacrifice the BDS amazing waranty but save on the high price. From what the guyat at my local dealership said OK4WD it's a solid lift, Built and supported in America. I was dying to see a real world build though. What options did you choose beyond the basic package? I saw in the pics that you opted for the steering stabilizer for one. Also, now that's you've had it on a bit, any problems?

I'm in the process of completing a 4" zone install. I started last week on the installation. I know this seems like a long time, but I've been spreading the project out and cleaning the underside of my jeep. The instructions for the installations were pretty close. I think this would depend on the year of your TJ, but for the most part spot on. I will say that you will be using the following size sockets/wrenches

13mm
15mm
17mm
18mm
19mm
21mm
Torque wrench in ft/lbs

VERY IMPORTANT: PB Blast the rear shock upper bolts...Again....PB Blast the rear upper shock bolts. I didnt and ended up snapping the head off...NOT GOOD....You should PB Blast all of the nuts and bolts a couple of days prior to starting your lift.
