Zone Offroad: TJ Suspension Lifts

I haven't found a feedback forum other than the "reviews" tab. When I was searching I didn't find much information about Zone Offroad or their lifts; well minus that supposedly the owner separated from BDS..which I can neither confirm or deny. What I can say is that they have way above average customer service. I placed my order with them on their direct website (http://zoneoffroad.com) on 2/10/09. My email that I use for paypal has been acting up lately so I never received a confirmation email. I called them on 2/12/09 and they took a message and called me back [and I am going to stray here on a tangent to say that good, quality customer service is becoming increasingly harder to come by. Working in the sales industry like I do..I realize how important it is and it is reassuring that there are people that have the decency to do so] promptly. Dave is who I spoke with directly (Dave is a member here on JF); he had my order information in hand and answered all the questions I could think of. I received my 3" TJ lift kit 2/13/09 in beautiful condition, very well packaged and anchored. I was excited, as any Jeeper with new parts, ripped into it and laid it all out. Nothing missing..well hey, I love it. I saw in a post that Zone Offroad prides themselves in their ability to communicate well through their directions..Spot on. The included directions are well written (much better than this post, I swear.) Overall I am very satisfied with Zone Offroad, enough to make this long post that hopefully someone recognizes..it will probably find itself being moved by a mod..I'm trying to make this as tech sufficient as I can.

Cliff notes:

Zone Offroad has impeccable customer service
Zone Offroad has someone who speaks English and will actually talk to you
" " ships product at light speed (same day shipping) FREE SHIPPING!

I am installed this kit Sunday 2/15/09. I will make this sort of an information base for people who choose to get this kit. I'll post what I come across and what works well when installing. If you are in the market for a 2-4" Suspension lift.. Call em, order from em, trust me..you won't be disappointed.

- A very satisfied customer thus far

Needless to say: Pics are on the way. I'll have a 2" PA body lift and the Zone Offroad 3" TJ kit.

Thanks.

Well that seems to be the complete opposite end of the spectrum from me and my experience with them. Reading that doesn't change my opinion one bit as it has nothing to do with how it went for me. I'd order from them again if I needed to.

Sounds like most of the guy's complaints on MallCrawlin are his own fault.

Well the lift went on today. Did it myself in 5hrs start to finish. Everything went together very easily and on my first attempt for everything. I didn't need to refer to the provided instruction sheet during the install after reading through it the day before. I own spring compressors because I have done many many many track car suspension setups, this is my first four wheel drive suspension. Very happy with how it turned out.

Since I was by myself for the install I have no during the process pictures or anything, it was mighty cold and I wanted to keep moving along.

Jeep when I bought it.

Added a 2" body lift.

Got my tires mounted this morning and then went for the mud!

I found one problem with the suspension lift. THE STICKERS PEEL OFF haha. Lift functions perfectly. very glad I went with it.

Excellent post.

I just received my 2" TJ spacer lift today, and I can agree with the OP in that the directions are crystal clear, and everything is well packaged. I look forward to tearing into this build!

So far, I am also very satisfied with Zone Off Road.

Super sweet jeep man. I like how no matter how dirty the jeep gets, the wheels always stay clean.

My only suggestion is to lose the bumper Milkjugs.

Wheel on...

Thanks guys. I used the tow hook to pull out my buddies ZJ, and it kind of stuck on me..so I leave it on there now.

This is great! I've a 2"BL and been tossing around the idea of a suspension lift but can't decide on tire size. I didn't see a TC drop or washers..so you've not had any probs with vibrations? The hook is pretty rockin'--but doesn't it kill your departure angle on trails?
