Zone 4" lift vs Rough Country 4" lift??

Both Zone and Rough Country advertise a 4" Lift kit for $529.oo for the TJ Wrangler. It seems like a good price for 4" of suspension lift. What is the quality and durability of these kits?? Is one any better than the other?? I'm currently running 31X10.5 on Mickey Thompson Classic Lock 15X8's with a stock suspension and may consider a mild lift kit.....

i cant comment on their quality personally, but im a believer of 'you get what you pay for'. theres a reason that those 4" kits are $529 and a rubicon express kit is $1000+

Well I will say this, I just recently bought 4 xj 3 inch zone lifts and have installed 3 of them so far and they are great. Now I know nothing about the RC 2.5 inch but all there other stuff I have tried including there 4 inch tj lift were rough just as the name implies and I don't recommend them to anyone.

Are you planning on running bigger tires? I ask because 4" is to much for 31's.(IMO)
SEE! I drove it for a couple weeks and was embarrassed.

I agree with boogie, If your happy with 31" tires then look into a 2" or 2.5" lift, any more and it looks funny.

We are running a promotion on the 4" TJ kit for $499. We will even cut you a great deal on upgrading the shocks to the Performance 2.2 Monotube shocks.

Not pimping... just informing the creator of the topic, letting him know that he quoted the wrong price of $529.

Just trying to helpful.

As far as "below par product"... That is not true and we stand behind our products.

haha... I wish we could. We catch a lot of crap on that "rough" comparison. Can't convert to "soft country" when you have spent over 25 years building a name.

Not trying to sound to rude but maybe a new name would help. Anyway do you offer those shocks for 6" lifts?

I have the 3" Zone suspension lift on my TJ and loved it. I have had it on there since march with 32/11.50/15 and haven't had any issues. I actually paid 459.00 plus shipping for mine back in march but prices may have gone up since then.
