I entered those into the search bar and that's what came up. My friend also bought the same thing. They are much heavier then stock and look just like what Stu has in his pictures.
When it asks for your local store, enter the zipcode 49083. I got mine from the Riverview store. Maybe they have a pricing mistake. What prices are you guys seeing?

I wonder if it has to do with zip codes.... thanks for posting, I'll use it to ask for a price match.

These are not Moog parts. They are Duralast. What is the quality difference and in your opinion is the extra $60 worth it for Moog?

For a follow up question, is the Duralast better than the stock TJ set up?
I plan to have AdvanceAuto price match $112.50 from Amazon for Moog parts. I think I can live with a $40 increase for higher quality.

yup price matching is key. I like to find whichever store is cheapest (Autozone, OReily, etc) and make the store with better quality price match it....for example, NAPA will price match Autozone or any other brick & mortar store on store brand parts.

Can't comment on autozone tie rods but I have based the heck out of my moog over the last 3 years and its still straight and the ends are still good.

FWIW, the Crown HD steering kit has poor quality rubber dust boots on it.
Mine has maybe 4,000 miles on it and all the dust boots have cracked and the TRE ball joints are all contaminated.
Go with the higher quality parts and / or replace the Crown dust boots if you can.

FWIW, I think that problem has been corrected. I think it was a supplier issue but last I saw they had switched to a different looking boot.
I know a bunch of local guys running this kit and love it. It's night & day difference from the stock stuff and the TRE's are much beefier.

I went to AdvanceAuto today with a print out of Rock Auto parts. They price matched without the added shipping fee. I got all the Moog parts for $110 after taxes. The AdvanceAuto price match policy states competitor price "after shipping" so I saved an additional $10 from the Amazon price match (which was the back up had they pushed the shipping issue).
I installed it in about an hour. I measured my tires before removing the tie rod, and remeasured after install. It went perfectly.
One other thing that should get a mention. The tie rod for a 2005 TJ has a threaded TRE on each end where the 98 ZJ has the turnbuckle/sleeve at the driver side making it extremely easy to adjust the toe.
With regards to tools, two hammers works well for shocking the TRE out of the holes. After a few coordinated whacks, the thing fell out.
Some pics!
Side by side comparison for size.
Installed. Very easy to adjust.

Great. . . but that doesn't help me if I Crown won't warranty their parts and it's been about two years since i put it on (I don't put a ton of miles on my TJ per year but do periodically use it and drive it once or twice a month).
Since I'll be needing to replace the whole steering system again I don't know if I want to roll the dice with Crown again.

Check out Savvy's steering options; it may be a little more pricey, but you get a great product and awesome support to go along with it. I just put on their ultimate kit, and it is a very nice, and very heavy duty system.
