You know you drive a TJ when your dog tries to jump in it and go for a ride every time you take her for a walk.

-Eric
wow i'm glad i'm not the only one with a dog who is as obsessed with the TJ as We are. my chi-weenie loves going for rides. if we're wrenching on the jeeps he insists on sitting in the jeep until we're done then he's ready to go for a test drive.

When after you lift your jeep the first time you get out you fall out rather than hop out.

There is no pin striping on doors only the rest of your body

New jeeper here but I've learned this the hard way.

When you leave your top and doors off all night only to jump in the next morning and get wet from the dew

When double digit mpg's sound like a pipe dream....
When you think getting close to 200 miles to a tank is pretty incredible....
When you done vaccuum the inside, you pressure wash....
There are gloves, chains, a tarp, a shovel/axe and duct tape in the back and your not going to burry a body...

I'm at over 19 mpg and over 300 miles to a tank. I don't think I could afford gas if I got less than 200 miles to the tank

When your meteorology skills improve because you need to know whether or not to put the top back on. Cumulous clouds, you're good to go. Cirrus clouds, better put the top on before too long...

The only reason I pay attention to the weather forecast is to know if I need to put the top up.

When a lady pulls out her camera at a stoplight and takes a picture of your Jeep.

When you know ALL the bolt sizes for the suspension off of the top of your head and can dictate them to a friend while sitting on your couch because he is getting ready for a suspension ovehgaul and needed to make a checklist

When you go outside at night to lock up your vehicles, look over at your TJ only to notice the lack of doors and a top, and simply shrug while turning around to walk back inside.
