When your friends are willing to be your DD as long as they get to drive the Jeep... Then they get pulled over for swerving on the highway because they can't keep the Jeep straight with 20mph wind gusts. Who can? (his first time taking the jeep on the highway)... Then your drunk self in the passenger seat tells the cop "its a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand."

It's not hard to put mirrors on a TJ with no doors, but here in Texas you are only required to have one rearward facing mirror, so the rearview mirror covers that requirement. I still prefer to have side mirrors though.

When you let the riceburner behind you crawl up on your back bumper, just as you are coming up on a deep puddle

I am using a temporary sideview mirror on the drivers side when the doors come off. When I drive using it the wind creates a whistling sound. Anybody else get that when driving with the temp sideview?

Absolutly and you can tune the sound of the whistle by moving the mirror a little forward or back in relation to the windshield for a more or less aggravating sound

here in canada, cops will give you a ticket for no side mirrirs, but the law in the HTA says one rear facing mirror required by law... so its a fightable cause

...you have a job that requires someone to be on duty 24/7, 365 days a year regardless of weather conditions and your boss calls you when everyone else is snowed in, because they "know you can make it to work".

Not entirely. But i suppose it depends on where you live. Here in Calgary ive seen many jeeps driving without them and get away with it. I relocate mine anyways. and its nice having a friend who is a traffic cop, found out in AB that unless its a motorcycle or moped you have to have a windshield. nowhere does it say anything about how it is mounted (folded down or up the jeep still has a windshield)
