...when your dad says he won't ride in it again after you lifted it because of the way it rides, then he asks you to drive him to camp in the snow and freezing rain

when you plan your upcoming spring break trip so you are close to a beach you can drive on and can go wheeling on the trip to the beach and the trip home

1.) when you drive your newly purchased TJ for 3-4 months on a temp tag and never get pulled over
2.) when you take your temp tag off, because only half of it is left
3.) when you turn on your air and get sandblasted from the vents
4.) when you wave at TJs' from your car
5.) when you hear a different sound from your TJ every day and figure its ok... probably will go away next time I drive it.
6.) when you are pulled over for drunk driving and explain to the officer that your completely sober; your Jeep just goes where it wants. and the officer understands, because he drives a lifted Rubicon. LOL P.S. and gets under your truck to make sure you have a decent skid plate.

Last edited by bjpjeep; 12-03-2008 at 09:30 PM.. Reason: had to add six... never been pulled over for DUI until I got the Jeep

I like these two.

A guy in our group was pulled over once, doing 70 in a 45. "You were only going fast enough to get a courtesy warning from State Patrol this morning. Nice Jeep."

you know you drive a tj when you put in switches that dont yet have a purpose and constantly have people say, "what are all those switches for?" "well, nothing yet...but i plan on installing (insert jeep part here)."

When you're on a cross-country road trip and you hit Moab. You feel as if you're Moses hitting the promised land and then you cry because you're in your friend's car.

When you buy your Jeep used from a dealer and you laugh when they mention getting floor mats.

When it rains, floods your interior and you think "oh good, I've been meaning to wash out some of that dirt.

When you change your oil w/o a jack.

When you're seriously considering a winch even though you've never needed one and probably never will. But, just in case!

When you can "fix" parts with duct tape three years ago and have them staying strong today.

When your supervisor makes you move your Jeep because you parked it on the curb/front lawn in front of the main offices. Again.

....when you show your wife the reserved for jeep only parking sign in the garage and you need (or probably need in the near future) the space to do more work on the jeep, so keep the d*** minivan outside!
