YJ hardtop.

Will a YJ's hardtop fit on a TJ? I'm still kind of dumb to what is interchangable if anything between the different styles(YJ/TJ/CJ etc). My softie is torn to hell from bad storms over the summer and hellacious winds this past month or so from the cold fronts coming in and a guy locally is trying to get rid of his hard top. If they are, I'll get at him, if not, I'll let him know I'll keep an eye out for anyone that might want one somewhere.

No it will not just fit right up. If you modify the part that attaches to the windshield, then you could make it fit. The fit may not be perfect though.

I looked at one that a guy was selling one time. It was a YJ hard top that a dude had put on a TJ. It didn't fit right, was cracked and chipped to try to make it fit, the holes didn't line up to bolt it down, and then he had some sort of sealant like silicone or something all over it trying to get a seal across the top of the windshield. Needless to say, I passed on that one.
