We have the same metal brake

Nice fab work , its cool to watch it being made vs tacking on a lot of pre made parts .

two questions

why not cut the upper mounts and trac bar mount off the axle(just to make it look nice)

what do you call that type of rear suspension, its a 3link /long arm/ torsion bar(anti wrap bar like what you see on yj's) and how does it eliminate the trac bar in the rear as i see no triangulation

I think if you look closely the rear trac bar is still there.

I rarely build anything that's a daily driver without a Track bar.... you really can't get rid of the front without having some stupid steering issues, and I have no problems with the rear binding, hanging up or rubbing clean up to 14" travel. as you can see in the pics, this one is 13" travel. you can also see rear steer is pretty much nonexistant with the stinger/torque arm and eliminated upper control arms. The Track bar retains the lateral stiffness.

If I cut off the stock axle brackets, the resale of the axle is degraded, there may be future plans.....

Pulling parts today, to be sent to the powdercoater......

here's something kinda funny, I used a stock rear tj track bar as a temp replacement for the custom track bar I made which is going to turn red instead of stay black.... just needed a little bend.

AND NO, it will not work without over 2+" bumpstop extension even tho it looks almost exactly like aftermark adjustables!

haha, looks like a York 210 will fit with the stock airbox.

I'm curious how many hours you've got into CB3's rig, and how much money fab work like this costs.

the bright colors are too flashy for my tastes, but I like many aspects of the build.
