Registered User | I don't know how this setup will work for you, but here's what I did. ![]() 35$ from sports authority. Just got a "roof rack" system for a car. Strap the front and back down to the bumpers then take the center strap and wrap it around the bar and kayak. You'll have a blast with the kayak. ![]() __________________ See it is I who created the blacksmith who fans the coals into flame and forges a weapon fit for its work. I think that's the one, then we got a set of the Yakima Nissan Xtera mounts and then the bars that go arcoss the rack. If you do go with those rollers, which work well, put them in the back and the braces up front, much easier to put on that way. Also, wrap a little electrical tape around the cross bar where yoiu're going to put the roller because the rollers don't stick on the bars very well and the tape will help them hold on better __________________ Tyler BRIGHT SILVER METALLIC TJ Custom Streeeeeetched, Locked, and 36s. I've never used Yakima, only Thule. I have three yaks so I'm gonna have to figure something out in a few months as to how to transport them to the water. My Thule sysem is on my wifes Element which is auto and my Rubi is stick so my wife cant drive it. |
