A friend of mine had one of those put on his jeep by his now ex-wife, she called it the mod-disruptor. Whenever she pushed the button, his jeep would not accept any modifications without wife-approval. Unfortunately, she was not installed with such button, and has since been removed!

I always thought that was part of the "Trail Rated" system. When you get stuck push is and you'll magically get unstuck!

The valet button will allow you to disable the alarm, only if you know the predetermined amount of pushes, and the ignition must be on. If you bought the jeep used, and you don't know the amount you need to push it, then you have to do what I did, and get a new alarm.
