Write-Up: Rev111 Fenders and Flares

As many of you have seen, I was one of the first people to give the Rev111 Metalcloak Fenders and Flares a shot. The timing was great as I needed some new flat fenders and the product was unique and different as has been discussed like crazy. I just finished my installation and impressions write-up and I think everyone will like it. I wrote it in more of a storyboard style. I basically walks you through the whole process as if I was sitting there and talking with you and I think it makes it pretty readable, plus it has over 50 pictures. Also, I am not sponsered by Rev111 or anything like that either so this is my opinion only.

I really love these as you can see, BUT... I am not going to get the rear ones. Honestly I am thinking I may do something custom in the rear. I would like to get a couple of inchs of extra clearance in the rear. I would like to possibly run 37s on 4inch of lift with no rubbing. I think I will do some version of comp cut. If REV111 where to release something comp cut I would grab it up.

Wow Rock Pirate. Great write up. They are a great company to deal with. We became distributors of their products about a month ago. The buzz is growing and alot of people have been asking me questions.
I thank you for doing this write up.
We have all of the Rev111 stuff that is available in stock. Check out our website or give me a call.
Chuck

I know, seems like shameless advertising on this guys thread but I can offer better prices then they offer on their site and I am working with them to get the products out there.

I met Eric and Phil at Easter Jeep Safari and got a chance to look at all of their stuff first hand. It is very high quality and the fit and finish seem to be superior to some of the others I have looked at. I just ordered my front fenders with the 4" flare and look forward to having something "different" yet high quality on my jeep.
Now that said, these are not cheap pieces of metal welded together and you are definitely paying for the quality and design work that goes into these. So, after getting over the price, it all depends on what you want. Also, in this months issue of Crawl magazine there is a competition jeep running their front fenders...pretty cool.
