Wrangler tj worn out seats.

Has anybody replaced 2001 Tj seats from another vehicle other than a jeep without any mods? Im low on funds and need to replace mine. Thank you all.

I would be surprised if you found anything that was a direct swop. The 03+ TJ have a different seat design and I'm pretty sure the holes are different. If you find your self some older TJ seats then they should be a direct swop. I don't know for sure though.

iv also heard xj seats will pretty much bolt in as well. that way you could have leather and if you wire everything you could get heated seats! im not sure of the year just try searching it.

Find an upholstery shop and have them recovered.
By the time you go through all the fab it might be worth it.

03-06 seats will bolt in, with their own risers. They will be about 1" lower than the seats you have now. You can mount the 03-06 seats on your current risers, so that you will not lose that 1". However, you need to drill a hole into the riser to make this happen.
