Which would you choose?
So from the long list of mods that I am planning on doing, I have two choices for
my big christmas gift (from my lovely wife). 1. JB Super Short HD SYE & Tom Wood's CV Drive Shaft (UR CAs and Trakbar in the next couple months) 2. Superwinch EPi9.0 I know that in the next year, both will be going on the jeep, but I am not sure which to get FIRST. The SYE/CV is going to also need upper rear adj control control arms and a rear sdjustable trakbar that I will have to wait a couple months to be able to fit in the budget. EDIT: FYI- I am planning on doing a tummy tuck, mml, and bl which is why I want the super short sye. But that won't be for another year or two.

I'd say you have to go with the SYE if you're going to do a tummy tuck. If you weren't planning on lifting it or getting the tummy tuck anytime soon I'd go for the winch.

The Tummy Tuck won't be for quite a while... at least not until next year or two.

Wait and get the SYE and CV shaft when you do the Tummy Tuck. That way you will have the correct measurement for the CV shaft. I'll vote get a winch for you! Happy Trails.

Looks like you guys are just about 50/50. That is the way I am! So much for having you help me decide!
I bet it is because you all actually want me to get both. Guess what? Me too!Right now, I am running a t-case drop with no noticeable vibes, so it might make sense to get the winch now and the SYE/CV at the beginning of summer... or spring... or next month. From what I have read, it sounds like people were able to install the JB SS before doing a tummy tuck and they just had the driveshaft made a bit longer (I guess tom woods would know exactly what to do) in anticipation of the tt. So that would make it so that I don't really need to wait until I am ready to do the whole shebang. All-in cost of each project: SYE /CV + UR CAs+ Adj Rear Trakbar = about $900-950 Superwinch Epi9.0 + Winch Mount Plate = $600
