Wont go into gear, please help.

Ok so i dont understand whats going, as of a few days ago, my tj doesnt wanna let me go into gear sometimes. for example, ill come to red light, throw it in neutral, light turns green, and it doesnt wanna go into first, or 2nd, or reverse. same thing happened when i stopped to get gas, and when i went to get something to eat.

anyone know what might be causing this...?

thanks in advance for anyones advice!!!

Yea the clutch is not disengaging from the tranny or all your syncros are worn out or your tranny is out of oil. Check the oil level in tranny and clutch master cylinder.

Did you recently put a body lift on or a t-case drop? because that could be a problem other than that i don't know.

Check the reservoir beside the mastercylinder, If its dry, theres your problem.

Its usually the little white cup looking thing on the firewall usually right beside the brake mastercylinder. Its actually called a slave cylinder thats probably giving you the problem and it mounted on the clutch housing, I beleive, but the reservoir to it is most likely on the firewall right close to the brake mastercylinder.

Can you find the Brake master cylinder under the hood? If so then look to the left of it and down a little, it's small & black, the cap un screws to the left. It's serviced with brake fluid and it's very corrosive to paint, clean up what is spilled.

Hard??? I must be missing something here.
Is the clutch pedal going to the floor when you push it?
Is it taking more pressure to push it than it did when you bought the jeep?
