Winning Noise after lift and SYE

I just completed the RE 3.5 SF Lift Kit and the AA Tom Woods SYE and now have a Winning Noise at around 50 MPH, fads in and out. Can any one help? I did not install the TC Drop because of the SYE.

Thanks
Bill

I lifted my Rubicon Unlimited 3" with an OME HD kit and now I have a winning noise too, but I figured out what is causing it. It's my wife complaining about how much trouble it is to climb aboard the Jeep. Since I've been leaving her home on Jeep trips the winning seems to have stopped.

This probqbly doens't help you to much, but I couldn't help myself!

I've got that problem too - and the same solution.

Maybe the tailshaft bearing? Maybe the DC joint in the shaft? Dunno.

Did you grease the Ujoints and DS splines? Might want to double check that and make sure your transfer case is not leaking and topped off. It would suck to throw a new DS.
