Windhshield Light Bar Wire Question w/ (PIC)

I am getting the 4 light tab windshield guard/light bar and monstalineing it! I am running my 4 KC Lights and want them all controlled by a second OEM fog light switch. Can I piggy back all the daystars up in the light bar? Use lower gauge wire? Do I need a relay or can I wire directly to the switch(what size fuse) (I want all 4 to turn on at once, nothing fancy)? Any body have what thecolors are for the back of the OEM fog ligh?

no you should NOT wire them directly to the switch... well you can ONCE and you'll let all the smoke out of it.

you should run 1 appropriate amp rated relay for each pair of lights [ so 2 relays] you can have the stock switch turn on both relays at the same time. make sure you run the correct gauge wiring and fuse each relay. theres mannnnny write ups on it or for quick reference go to the tech page on the website below.

what light powers the fog light switch, is it the t4(type B)?

Im gonna see if I can find this light bar on the world wide web but if I cant find it can you tell me what brand it is. sorry I cant help with the wiring issue. I just went the simple route and put in some aftermarket switches.

One 40 amp relay will handle 4 100w lights (roughly 30 amps total), but it's not the best plan. When I put in my 100w lights a few weeks ago I put two on a 40 amp relay with a 20 amp fuse and 12 ga. wire, 18 ga. from the relay to a factory fog light switch, with a factory pigtail, spliced into the existing wiring to the original fog light switch. Works perfectly.

Mine- 2k TJ, RC 2.5 lift, .75 spacers, Soft 8s, 33" KM2s, winch, lights, and so on
Hers- 06 WK, bone stock until she leaves it and the credit card with me for an unsupervised weekend

if your adding the fog light switch, you can decide what source powers it, be it constant battery or ignition switched for example. the fog light internal light or 'illumination wire' should be spliced/tapped into the factory dash lighting circuit behind the dash. basically jumped off from another exisiting switch etc.
