id go with what the others have said so far, get yourself some swamper radials in a 31x9.50 or a 10.50, small lift(no more than 2"), maybe tire carrier to carry some jerry cans that you could paint olve drab, get a nice size cb whip, light guard maybe, small pushbar style brush guard up front and call it a day. keep it vintage looking, with todays technology. good luck with it

Thanks Man. I had looked at the Willys edition Jeeps for over two years when I decided to try to find one. Bought her on Ebay! with 3,900 miles on it.

This thread is still going so I'll add my update pics with my new Goodyear 37x12.50x15 MTR's. After adding 1" more bumpstops I flexed the front and rear out till the bumpstops bottomed out and still had a little room in the fender and wheel wells.

I ended up with 20 inches between the ground and my TC skid plate. I guess I'm Big Willy now!

A guy near me has sort of a homemade willy. He has all the decals but it is a flat military green. No gloss at all. Looks fantastic with the stock wheels and maybe 31s or 32s. Really love the Willys

Sounds great. It has a mellow tone at idle, but a nice growl when you get on it.

How about a short video with sound or a sound bite?
