Mine came with 3.73's - 04 auto. Worked great "off road" but the 4.88's and 35" tires work better!

Lucky!! I had an 05 stick. On the window sticker it listed the gearing at 3.07's

All the Willys Editions I saw had D44 with 3.73 gearing. Maybe it was just the batch that was sent in around here??
