Will crank but no start... help please!!
OK, so a few weeks ago my thermostat pegged. Well I did not realize it for a little while, and when I did, I drove it out to my parents to replace the thermostat. Bad, bad idea. Engine overheating fried the head gasket along w/ cracking and warping the head.
: Well I scored a rebuilt head and slapped it on. Also changed the plugs, flushed and filled the radiator, changed out hoses and the thermostat, hopefully preventing the thermostat from pegging again in the future. Now new problem. The engine will sit there and crank, but will not turn over. No spark from the the coil, and fuel only dribbles out of the shraeder valve after a crankin'. Changed out the crankshaft position sensor (CKS) cause apparently the ECU will cut fuel and spark if it doesn't get input from it. Still does the same though with a new one in. I checked around pretty good, and I don't think I forgot any harnesses.Any ideas pleeeease?? I've been w/o my jeep for weeks now and its givin me the itch!! I need it back! Thanks guys.
