Where does the fog light switch go?

Hello - I have an '03 Wrangler X - no hard top or fog lights so I have three blank spots where the defrost, wiper, and fog light switches go. I am installing factory fog lights next week - which slot does the fog light switch normally go in? Have I said the phrase 'fog light' enough times in this post? Thanks!

I believe it is on '03+ Wranglers, but anyways the fog light switch was moved to the turn signal stalk. You pull it out towards the door to activate the fog lights. The switches in the center stack (below the hvac controls) is where the defroster, rear wiper and axle lock switches come stock. You could wire it up there, but if you want a factory appearance, you will have to buy a new turn signal stalk. From what I hear, it is a pita to wire in.

As posted above, the fog light switch moved to the turn signal stalk, but in 2001. If you bought a Jeep accesoriy kit it should have the correct switch in it. In 2003 the dash panel changed to hold 4 switches left to right, Rear Defog, Rear Wipe/Wash, O/D off (if automatic), and Axle lock (if Rubicon).
If you are doing your own adapting with a 2000 and earlier switch, I suspect the switch will fit into one of two right hand holes. It is fairly easy to remove the switch panel, but be sure you have all screws out. It doesn't have to be forced to remove it.

As stated above, the factory fog is on the steering wheel. But the factory switch fits into any of the slots in the dash.

I put a foglight switch in the 3rd spot because I don't have the automatic tranny and will therefore never need the overdrive switch.

Cheers
