Wheeling tip for LSD

Just a tip that you may know or maybe not.

If you get stuck try pulling up the hand brake to get the limited slip differential working.
It got me out of 3 pretty nasty bits this past weekend. Pity about the warning chime that beeps every time – anyone got a fix?

Yeah, run an older TJ. My 98 doesn't ding at me... must be something they added in the newer ones.

just watch out for the rear brake backing plate when pulling that parking brake lever. the backing plates will bend in the rear if the parking brake lever is pulled to hard while giving it the gas. your probably better off just using the brake pedal to trick the LSD into thinking it has traction. the weak backing plate is probably why jeep put the chime in. my 02 has the chime also.
