Be very careful with the wife mod. Uninstallation can be extremely expensive. Wife mods have been known to take the Jeep and all other mods during the uninstall process. Also, make sure you service your wife mod properly as often as humanly possible. Wife mods not properly serviced may malfuction or uninstall themselves at any time.

It sure is. I try as hard as i can not to let them touch it, but sometimes its a PITA to take the wheels off and bring them in for tires. If they just put 2 turns by hand, then blasted away we would all be fine!

Blasting away at all can spin the knurles off the stud due to over torqing. Lugs should never be tightened with an uncontrolled impact gun. Use a torque stick or snug them and tighten by hand (prefferably with a torque wrench).

ehh, my impact is within 10ft/lbs of my torque wrench when i have it on the right settings and do the same thing (i've checked it many times). I will actually put the lugs on snug by hand while rocking the wheel and tightening them one by one so the wheel is perfectly centered. Then i'll blast away if the impact is handy, if not i'll torque them with my tq wrench. The impact is nice because you can do it with the wheels off the ground.
