Wheel stud

I rounded a lug nut off yesterday trying to get it off the front RS. Seems like the tire place that mounted my BFGs decided to torque them to about 400 lbs. My factory lug wrench is bent beyond recognition.
I ended up drilling it out to get the wheel off.
I went to the parts store to pick up some new studs. Guy said there were 2 different choices for the front. 1 5/8" and 1 15/16" long. I also bought all new lugs for the front.
My question is, which of these studs is the right one for my Jeep?

I'd have to take a stud out to measure it. I don't want to do that. That's why I'm asking here.

Have you pulled a drum off? You can see the whole stud through the axle shaft WMS. If your just too lazy to check it then spend the extra $.25 and get both, then try one or the other till it looks good to ya

Seems like the front stud is longer than the rear (drum) stud. Measure the thickness of the rotor at the stud hole, measure the exposed length of another stud, add the two measurements together, and you have the required stud length.

BTW don't waste your time replacing the lugs with the stock style 2 piece lugs. Go get some real solid chrome lugs. That is most likely your problem with rounding off lugs, they are a PITA.

Why don't you just measure one of the studs on the front disc, you know, the one that already has the tire off! If not just buy them both and use the one that fits...
