Stock body mounts fail the same way when a Jeep has a hard front end hit. I saw this quite a few times while working at a Chrysler dealer body shop over a period of about 3 years. A 2" or 3" body lift is perfectly safe in an accident. You can speculate and theorize all you want, but it does not change the real world results.

has anyone ever "made" there own body lifts
i mean i was thinkin bout just getting some solid aluminum blocks about 2" and drilling a hole and gettin longer bolts piece of cake right????
