Whats inside of the coil spring?

Hey whats the "official name" of the piece inside of the coil springs? Is it called an isolator? I need to replace the whole peice, it looks like it was metal at one time (now its rusted of course).
Any info would be great thanks!

The metal parts are really corroded, and I think they need to be replaced. Do you know what they're called, I can't locate them at any auto parts stores or in any catalogs for that matter either? Maybe I'll just go to the junk yard if I can't find any.
Thanks

the actual tower/tube itself is welded to the frame. the upside down cup on the bottom is the bumpstop cup. the rubber thing inside the cup is the jounce bumper. now whether those names are official...lol probably not.

you can get new cups and jounce bumpers from the junkyard. ZJ front's fit in the TJ rear, and XJ front's fit in the TJ front. you'll need to cut the cups off the XJ's...they're welded to the unibody...but they're the same thing thats bolted on the TJ. as for the spring tower/mount itself...you'd either need to fab something new up, or cut one off a TJ frame in the junkyard, and weld the repair on.

Thanks for all that info!
Maybe I will try to salvage the metal parts, hopefully underneath all the rust is some good metal.
