x436 on the RC kit. I got the 3.25" kit and it rides great so far. I had heard a couple people mention it riding like a dump truck right after install and then smoothing out after a couple hundred miles but I did not experience that. Rode like stock immediately after and still rides like stock after a few hundred miles.

I have the 2.5 inch lift. It rides great, and works well. The price can not be beat. Don't always listen to the elitests. Unlike some one on here, we all dont have bottemless pockets to buy the most overpriced gear. With RC you are paying for the lift, not the lift and a load ton of advertising. I use it, I love it, I also use the new SmittyBilt XRC8 winch, and its a damn fine winch.

Some people have it screwed up in their heads that if its no OME, RE, or Warn its junk. I can guaretee you that you could not beat the RC lift for any price. The new shocks are amazing.

The guys at RC have hit a home run with these shocks, and I cant wait to see a long arm kit from them. With RC you get what you need, for a great price, and always have the option to buy the add ons..

Many of the big dogs overcharge for their stuff since there are people that want the big dog name. If you take the RC 2.2 shocks, and the price comparable RE twin tube shock, there is no comparison, the RC blows them out of the water.

Some people shop for the cheapest price, some shop for the name, I shop for the Value

I got a question for you? Why do you include a dropped pitman arm in your 4" kit and don't relocate the frame side trackbar mount?

ditto. I mentioned the same thing to RC. Running a drop pitman arm w/o also a dropped trackbar is asking for fail from my experience.
Not bashing RC, just curious why they thought a drop pitman was necessary?

Agreed on all accounts! Well said. Call RC and talk to Jeffery or Jason.

Mine will have the RC 4" short arm on 33's TrXus this Saturday. I will post my opinion. I hope everything will go well. I will put a SYE and rear DS. I have the hydro shocks.

Wish us luck...

For what its worth; I put the 4" kit on both my YJ and my TJ - with my TJ I went with TrailMaster shocks...
When I initially put the kit on the YJ I was seriously spanked by the vets here..
Then, there was a complete turn around as to customer satisfaction ON THIS forum - more than 50 posts I would guess
For the money, I dont think you can go wrong -

Please tell me my eyes are going bad or the picture is messed up and you really do NOT have the streering stabilizer connected between the tie rod and draglink?

Our Coil springs are made in the USA. They are high quality springs and should not sag. They may settle some after the installation, but should net very close to the advertised lift amount.

The x-series kit does come with a frame side trackbar drop. That is why it has a dropped pitman arm. This keeps the trackbar and steering geometry correct. http://www.roughcountry.com/jeep_tj_4x.html

Our standard 4" kit does not include a pitman arm.

Yea I know - raises eyebrows everywhere - but since asked - [it] was a suggestion after a DW concern last year - by a old timer in the shop - and (dont ask) but it works like you wouldnt believe -
I can now (not that I would mind you); take [both] my hands off the wheel goin 55 and light a smoke - rock solid, straight as an arrow - like it was a stocker right off the floor with skinnys -
Yep - a beautiful thing.
Just warrants an explanation once in a while
