ive been talking to numerous people on here running the rc lifts and heard good remarks on the newer stuff. ive got a few people saying that they are running the 2.5 kit with 2" spacers and love it. im personally looking at that 3.25" kit they have. idk if this helps you at all lol.

I have there 2.5 kit with a 1" front spacer and no complaints. It is what it is. For the price you cant go wrong.

I have the 3.25" Kit (w/ 1.25" BL) and its been on for about 300 miles give or take. I must say that after "breaking in" for a bit...the ride quality is terrific! It is very close to stock but just feels like a more solid ride.

I am very pleased with the purchase. Not to mention... Rough Country has great service. I called them like 3 different times during the install and everyone was more than happy to help!!

Check out my build thread (link in sig) for some pics!

I installed a 4" Pro Comp lift with ES3000 shocks on my old '97 TJ. I just about lost my kidneys; very rough.

I just installed the RC 2.5" lift with 2.2 shocks on my current '04 Rubicon. I'm very pleased with the ride quality; just a tad stiffer than stock, but very acceptable and worth the $250 I paid for it.

It's not a "complete kit"; I could use an adjustable front track bar because my front axle did shift quite a bit. But a nice start for $250.

I have one wheeling trip on the RC suspension. In terms of performance, I didn't notice a significant difference over the stock suspension. But, it did provide enough clearance so that my 32" BFG KM2s' did not rub on the fenders when discoed, which is really all I wanted for now (and expected for $250).

i have the combo kit (2.5sl and 1.25bl) I threw .75 spacers on the front and a 1mml to avoid the t-case drop that comes w/ the kit. i am VERY happy with everything, including the cost for the near 3.5 increase in my ride height. I threw in 33's and don't need new bumpstops and have no rubbing at all.
great first lift for me and will run it for a while till i cant stand being one of the smaller guys in my club.

What I'd probably do if that kit is in the price range you need to stay in, I'd buy it minus their shocks and instead, buy better riding shocks like Old Man Emu, Skyjacker Hydros (not their Nitros), or Rubicon Express Monotubes (not their twin-tubes).
I have the RC 2.5". I had the Hydros. The RC is a FAR better ride than the 7000's were.

I've had my RC 2.5" lift on for 2 weeks now, definitely better ride that stock. Haven't been 4-wheeling yet tho to test it out, still a couple feet of snow left out here. Now I just have to change my upper & lower ball joints & a tie rod end.....man...this Jeep is just like a woman! Once you put money into her it gets used to it & never ends!
