What's this 97 worth?

Hello guys I'm new here - looking for a TJ to keep my 1960 CJ5 company. I found a 97 TJ 4.0/5spd sahara hardtop. It has under 50,000 miles on it and is in great shape. It has a winch, 4 inch lift and new 33's. It has 4:10 gears and ARB lockers front and rear - the rear is a dana 44, too. It amazed me the condition it was in, but what is it really worth? I'll let you guys chime in before I tell you what they are asking for it. The thing I like about it is - it's setup exactly how I would build one already. What do you guys think?

$9k-12k, if it hasn't had any major problems. Sounds like it hasn't. I've got 88k miles on my '97. I expect it to hit 175-200k.

I would have to agree with grundrc 100%. I have a 97 with 82,000 and I foresee it lasting at least another 100,000 miles with regular oil changes and maintance. Good luck with your purchase!

My 97 has 121k on it, and I haven't had any major problems. You didn't say how much they were asking abut sounds like a nice jeep. I'd jump on it.

What are they asking for it? With the miles, condition, and accessories, it would be a great buy at the right price. I would think that 12000 would be the ABSOLUTE tops, though. Even that is stretching it for a 97.

Sounds like a sweet ride, though.
