What would you say about the 2006 Unlimited

Looking at a 2006 6cyl unlimited. Does anyone have complaints about them or on the otherhand compliments

I upgraded from a 02 TJ to 06 LJ rubi and the extra space is VERY nice!

The good:
extra space is awesome.
ride is much better than SWB TJ.

The bad:
42RLE auto sucks. get the 6-speed.
brakes aren't the best.
cam position sensor recall issues - make sure jeep dealer has installed the updated part.

Can you tell me how you went about the recall. I know on my 98 TJ the cat was recalled and Jeep sent me a letter telling me to bring it down. They paid for the service and parts. Was it the same story. Also Im going for the 6 spd.

Was the CPS on 06es too? I haven't seen any recalls for mine...

Anyway, buy one, you won't regret it!

I sold my 97 TJ and bought an 06 LJ Rubicon. Me being 6' 7" I love the extra room the LJ gives you.

Love mine!!! I do know several that have a slight shake in the steering wheel between 40 mph and 50 mph. I would buy it again.

I love mine, no problems and the extra space is nice. I think it rides a little better than the TJ

I have a 2005 and absolutely love it. One poster said the brakes don't work well but from my experience the brakes are excellent even with 33 inch tires.

Ive got 32's, and i havent noticed a problem with the brakes either. I know its an area of concern the bigger the tires.
