what tools are needed

what size sockets and wrenches would i need to take down the skid plate and change the transfer case on a 2002 tj

I'm pretty sure it's a 15 socket on the 4 bolts holding the TC to the skid, and a size 19 socket on the 6 bolts holding the skid to the frame.

Are you changing the transfer case or changing the fluid in your t-case ?

I would get a good nutsert tool and some new nutserts. Whenever I mess with the ones on the side steps they get screwed up.

10mm and 17mm hex key if you need to drain and fill the tcase.
