What Are These Brackets For?

A friend of mine bought a 97 TJ and these brackets were in the glove box. I have not encountered any of these before. Can anybody help me out? They are obviously a pair, left and right or whatever.

Thanks, Don

Looks like a cheaper version of mirror relocators. Do them match up to the windsheild hinges at all??

Thanks for for posting the pic and for the feedback.

Wow! I wouldn't want to mount my mirrors on these, they are FLIMSY! (not even tempered)

Did you get a besttop soft top with your jeep, looks to be the brackets that mount up by the roll bar. If i am correct those are the brackets that you push the foward support bars into and then wrap the soft top around and velcro to make a seal so when the door is closed it seals against the fabric and the metals bars. Looks to be the same brackets that came with my softtop from besttop when I had it.

Yep, those are '03-'06 Supertop mounts, but they'll work on a '97-'02.

Heh sweet FTW, we all have an off day man I remember them very well due to how crappy the top fit and how much trouble I had with it so it stood out very well lol.
