What size nut on pinion yoke?

Anyone here who recently had their pinion yoke off remember what size the nut is? I'm going to be replacing the seal soon and I want to make sure I have the correct size. Thanks!

It's been a while but I'm pretty sure that it's 1 1/8".

It's not just any nut though. It's a specific pinion nut. It supposed to be replaced every time it is removed and you can't use a hardware store but.

I've changed out 4 pinion seals on jeeps and have re-used the same nut each time. Marked it and re-torqued it and have never had any issues?

So do many others, but technically it is a single use nut.

I get it just don't think it's anything to get paranoid about. Technically there are torque specs for everything as well but many suggest "snug, one grunt, two grunts, etc..." when asked about torque specs.

I've seen this question asked many times on multiple forums and nearly every response is wrong. The nut is a 3/4"-16 and uses a 1 1/8" socket.

Yes I know that the socket size is what most people are looking for but that's not what they ask.
