What rock sliders does every one have and how do they like them?

I have been looking at Rock Sliders recently, I have search and can't find a list of available rock sliders or opinions on them. I have looked at A to Z fabrication, Rokmen, Rough Country. I want some that offer bottom protection and side protection with a bar. I currently have OEM Jeep Nerf bars which aren't going to last much longer, I haven't bent them yet but I'm sure its coming. I know Rokmen's are the best, but I like the price of the A to Z fabrication better. I would like to keep it in the $150 to $300 range. Also some come with a gasket what is this for and is it necessarily? I'm not a hard core rock or mud person, mostly trails some rocks and logs. Thanks

i have Fabtech rocker guards with no bar but they do the job very well. theyre 1/4" thick as opposed to most of the others which are 3/16" thick. the protect all the way up to the door and almost all the way to the frame.

the gasket youre talking about goes between the rockerguard and the body tub and it keeps the water and small debris from settling and causing rust and scratches that could cause rust. i recommend getting it.

heres my Fabtech rocker guards.

I have AtoZ and I love them. I haven't bashed them yet but they seem tough as nails. I ordered mine over the phone (using a satellite phone up in the mountains of Afghanistan) and they were really nice and gave me a good deal.

Most people are going to tell you to get AtoZ. They are good, but I prefer the Rokmen. They are a little better quality, IMO. Just make sure you get WW2WW. If you are on here a lot then you'll find out that most of JF is pro AtoZ. Rubicon Owners Forum is more pro Rokmen. You can't go wrong either way, but I went with the Rokmen and they are top notch...product & service.

I have shrockworks sliders. I wouldn't trade them for the world. I have used them as pivot points and generally beat the snot out of them with zero problems.

if you dont have to drill to install them and you want to use them, dont get them. for anything tub-mounted itll be much stronger to have them bolted to the tub.

i dont currently have the gasket on mine but i soon will. theres also a plate you can install on the inside of the tub to further reinforce the rocker/rocker guard, though i dont recall who makes them.

i recommend getting them as thick as you can to maximize the amount of protection you get from them. 3/16" will work in most cases but 1/4" is stronger.

Another option is the ones I have from Fab Fours. They are also 1/4" steel with a tube that I use for a step (just add some grip tape). They wrap all the way under to the frame rail. I really haven't banged on them yet but they are quite beefy.

Sorry I don't have any pictures of the under side, but they bolt through in several locations.
