What makes your TJ squeak?

This is just a thought but after weeks of trying I've finally eliminated MOST of the squeaking noises my TJ makes. The noises weren't that annoying, but once I started looking for the cause they drove me crazy. I'm not talking about anything mechanically wrong. Nothing to do with brakes or axles. All I'm talking about is those little noises when a bushing or something needs to be lubricated. Ever happen to you?

I'm sure every TJ owner has had one noise or another that was hard/impossible to locate. Since you can't exactly tie a friend to the frame and let him listen while you drive around, just thought that some input from other people might not be a bad idea. The squeaks that drove me crazy just might be the same that are bothering you now, and vice versa. Just thought it might be a good idea to get a "master list" of sorts to help everyone know what spots to spray down every now and then. (And please, nothing about brake pads)

Anyway, my main culprets were:
1) Contral Arm joints
2) Bracket that connects Transmission to the skid plate
3) Engine mount bushings

The grommet were the steering wheel goes through the firewall can give a nice squeak when it's gets real cold and you crank the steering wheel. Dab a little white grease and she is good as new for another couple of years.

1) Hi-lift in the back
2) Control arms
3) Sports cage
4) Steering components
5) Loose spare

There are some more, but I haven't quite isolated them yet

Discovered that one a similar thread a couple of years ago. Every time I turned the steering wheel in the winter I thought there was a goose stuck in the dash board. Didn't care much for the honk sounding sqeak.

Don't even know, but I gots lots of them!

For the control arms, do you guys just re-grease them and the squeak goes away? I've got BDS front lowers, the rest are stock.

That is exactly the sound... I couldn't think of a way to describe it, but a goose it is... Going out right now to ring it's neck...

I've got Teraflex lower flex arms all the way around and they have grease fittings that I lube every time I do an oil change... But on stock, I'd probably just give them a squirt of WD-40...

Anyone do something that would last longer?

Maybe it's the wrong place to ask, but i think my rear trackbar is the cause of my squeaking noise, would not having a cv bracket for it cause this? I have a RE adj trackbar, a Ford 8.8, Tera ESS, and TW drive shaft.
