What/How do you carry things in your tj?

Okay guys for awhile I have been wondering everything people keep in their TJ. I want to see things like tuffy consoles and every other storage solution people have made. Please include what you carry in your jeep and how....the more pictures the better. THANKS!

I'll either have my back seat in the jeep or my toolbox. The box is attached pretty good to the jeep. Here's a pic.

Note: Sorry bout the size. Tis the only file I had hosted,

in the summer with the top off... i leave nothing in it

I had the saddle bags on an old YJ. I bought em mainly to keep the dog in, but they were handy. They were not waterproof though.

I use plastic totes with lids. You can stack them well, there roomy, and somewhat water tight.

These are from Bestop I think, but discontinued. I like them though. Fit enough tools for everyday use and I even installed my air compressor in the one on the driver's side.

I have the Tuffy Security Expanding Lock Box in mine. I love it because you can flip the seat forward and the box opens up for more items to secure. Don't need that much space to lock up things, fold it up and flip the seat back in place.

It may not be pretty, but here is mine. It is a lockable storage tote from wallyworld. It is bolted through the bottom to steel braces bolted to the attachments for the rear seat. It holds my hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers etc.) recovery strap, first aid kit, extra blanket, gloves, paper towels and wet wipes for cleanup after a trail (or road) side repair.

Tuffy rear cargo box and Tuffy glove box. I modified the Tuffy cargo box with some "hole rail" that allows me to bungee ice chest and other stuff on top.

I carry spare parts, tools, and general gear in an action packer that sits where the rear seat was, behind that is my jpcooler, one side usually has my drinks and lunch and the other side has items I like to keep handy such as snacks, the winch controller, gloves etc.

I just put my backseat back in and I think I will end up using my new 28 qt jpcooler for drinks and lunch and the larger 56 qt cooler to carry the gear that was in the action packer.

Same here. I already store my camping gear in the totes so when its time to go camping I just slide them in the back of the jeep. I also keep the back seat out so that I always have plenty of room in the back.

I've got a military surplus tote bag for my recovery gear and first aid. My next purchase will be a surpluss ammo can, something big like a .50 cal. Those things are water tight, lockable, and you can drill-n-bolt them anywhere if you desire. Plus, they're MUCH cheaper than Tuffy or anyone elses products. Look better than a rubbermaid tub too.

As stated in another post, I have tuffy's underseat drawer. Not real big for storage, but I keep a 30' tow strap, tree saver, ~30' of 3/8" air hose, a 4 way, swr meter, my original rear spider gears in an assuie locker box, spare u joints, 4-6 racket straps, air drill and bits, blow gun, hatchet, socket set, and a flash light. so it's big enough... plus I've mounted a track type tie down system on top of the box for securing gear. I can ratchet down coolers and camping gear to the top of it and nothing moves... One of the best mods I've done yet.. sorry no pics...

i've got a $15 tool bag from Lowes bungied to the floor in the back. Also have one military surplus store mechanics bag under the drivers seat. I tried the action packer thing, but somebody sat on it and broke the latch.
