First post in this thread has a link to all the discussions about throttle bodies you can read. IMO, not worth the money.

They don't provide more air, not in the least. Think about it... let's say you have a 3" pipe and can force 100 gallons per minute through it. Now let's splice in a 1' long 10" diameter pipe into the middle of that 3" diameter pipe. Do you think that mid-point 10" diameter piece is going to somehow allow more water to flow through the 3" sections?

For the type of air-only throttle body the TJ uses, a throttle body spacer does absolutely nothing. Spacers can do wonders when mounted under a carburetor or the old style throttle body injection systems where both air and fuel passed through, but it doesn't work on the TJ. In the TJ, all the fuel is injected directly into the air intake manifold, well below the throttle body.

Don't waste your $$$ on a throttle body spacer. It oughta be a crime to sell them, they are worth about as much as snake oil is.

They do a great job of removing money from your pocket and putting into the pocket of the snake oil rep you purchase it from. You purchased a jeep not a farrari.

I tried one in my 97 Tacoma (3.4L v6).
It didn't give me any more power or MPG.
It did however give me a place to toss $80, and an afternoon of underhood enjoyment.
