Today, I finished wiring my rear fog/backup light/3rd brake light
It's wired with a 3-position switch in my 10-mini switch panel, that allows me to turn the 55w light on manually, or have it come on automatically with the reverse lights, or disable it completely.

Sorry about the crappy cell phone pictures, i'll take some better ones tomorrow.

3rd brakelight (14 red LEDs)

Reverse light

Work light/Tailgater defence

Edit-
Also replaced a 100w Yellowstar bulb in one of my Hella 500s that burnt out.

Nice job Panici.

Would you happen to have a wiring diagram, I am curious what you spliced into.

Thanks I can't take credit for the idea, I got it from HowIRoll 's build thread.

I don't have a wiring diagram, but I can tell you what I spliced.
-For the reverse light trigger, I used the purple wire in the mirror connector, that is right underneath the very first dash piece (by the defroster)

-For the 3rd brakelight, I used one of the wires coming off of the rear of the tailgate contacts (tub side). I'll check tomorrow for the color/stripe if you want.

-For constant hot +12 in the dash (to use as an always-on relay trigger) I spliced a line off the 12v accessory lighter plug.

-Direct to battery for power and ground, for the relay.

-Led wiring was simply two sets (wired in parallel) of 7 red leds each (wired in series). I worked it this way so that I didn't need to use resistors

Thanks man. I should've guessed HowIRoll. I probably asked him the same thing when he posted it, he's an electrical pro.

That's tight Panici, I didn't realize you had 2 functions out of that. Great idea.
