Picked up my duster cover from 4wheel parts and installed on lunch break.

Wanted to buy more and had money, but felt stupid giving money away to someone who had no enthusiasim to help me or even ask questions.

Gonna troll the classifieds instead and give it to someone who lives/loves jeeps.

Well today will be day 3 of trying to figure out why my passenger side reverse light isn't working. 2 days ago, couple across the street told me it was out. Yesterday I picked up some new bulbs but the bulb is good. I decided to pull the whole housing off and noticed when it was hanging the light was lighting up. I think there is a connection issue. Today I plan on taking it completely off.

Weird thing is a multimeter is showing 6V when it isn't lit up (when it should be).
Update: Fixed it. Basically it looks like a hack job by the PO when the hitch I removed was put in. They did a vampire tap on the Black/Purple line which is the reverse lights but somehow that wire got pulled from the connector so they did a really bad job of wrapping another wire around the old one and joining it beyond the connector back on the harness. No solder or anything other than wrapping it around.

I removed the tap and soldered some wire and got it back into the blades that were in the connector. Covered up the stripped section of the harness. Now it all works perfectly.
geez some people..

Started putting a bed liner in it yesterday. 3 thick coats of the cheap walmart stuff and it seems to be holding up pretty well. Dropped a bottle jack, lug wrench and the back seat on it this morning while taking the back seat out and didnt notice any real damage but Im gonna play it safe and throw another can of the liner on the back and tailgate just to be safe. Also taped off the upper part of the rocker panel where your foot hits it when you get in and put several thick coats on that also.

You know you are required to post pics when you do a bedliner thread, right????

Diff fluid swap. Just pumped out the old and pumped in the new 85W-90. The rear fluid was very dark with a metallic sheen. The front was amber without any signs of metallic debris. I'm guessing the difference is that I don't use 4WD often and the rear sees much more duty? I have only heard a clunk on acceleration one time, before the last fluid change when I dropped the covers, so I don't think anything catastrophic is going on back there. The last fluid change was 24K ago. I took two long trips this summer: one of 3700 miles total (FL to NH and back), and one of 1700 miles total (FL to N GA and back). Many high speed highway miles on this fluid. Was what I found common?

New cap and rotor from NAPA.
