Started out trying to remove the stock fogs to refinish the rusted brackets (worst area of rust on the entire Jeep). The mounting nuts were stuck, though, and I snapped the bolts off despite PB Blaster and some heat and a hammer. I'll replace them with some KC Hi-lites!

You know it may be cheaper to use new nuts and bolts but whatever you need as an excuse I had the same problem this last weekend when I took off my front bumper to knock out a dent. Unfortunately, I can't spend any more this year on upgrades. Next year is a different story

I washed mine, added some Lucas fuel injector cleaner before the oil change this weekend, and added a new air freshener

The bolt is integrated into the bottom of the bracket and I could not separate it from the bracket after I broke it off. After seeing how stuck everything was, it probably would have been awhile before they fell off! As you said, though, good excuse to mod! 4WD.com has 10% off a bunch of KC hilites and free shipping, if anyone is interested...

Glad you told me. I am planning on replacing my bumper next year and was planning on keeping my stock lights. I may see if I can get them off by some means .
I really don't care if the bumper survives the ordeal. If not, oh well, new lights
